About us – www.workboatsales.com was founded in March 2010 by Martin Antrobus after many years constructing and selling commercial workboats with builders in the UK & Spain.
The website is aimed at vessel owners, builders, & brokers in the commercial marine markets looking to buy, sell, or charter workboats worldwide.
We are based near London and usually operate between 07.00 to 19.00 GMT 5 days per week. E mails are monitored and if you have any urgent request we will respond out of normal hours.
Prices – All vessels are offered at the owners asking price and we do not add anything to the asking price for ourselves. We simply charge sellers for our service.
Searching for vessels – Website visitors can search for vessels using the “Vessel search” page. It is possible to search under any characteristics you prefer.

We will endeavour to reply within 24 hours but usually reply inside 4 hours.
Please note the WBS reference number and we will forward many more pictures, drawings, and specifications that we hold. We cannot list all the vessel details on the website.
General purchase enquiries – If you have a general purchase enquiry then the more information you can give us the better. We often have vessels in our books that are only offered privately.
Using the service – Sales & charters are arranged on a no sale, no fee basis which means you have nothing to lose by marketing your vessel with us. We are sure you will find our fees the lowest amongst other professional brokers, without compromising the quality of service.
To offer a vessel for sale or charter we generally need a minimum of 4 pictures and a specification. We receive very many enquiries for all the vessels we offer and the majority of questions are similar. The more information we hold, means we can develop the buyer’s interest to a higher level before the inspection visit.
Attendance – This site is supported by a presence at UK and international trade shows. We try to limit visiting vessels to take pictures or accompany clients to vessel inspections. This is simply because it is not possible to attend all of them and is why we charge a little less than other brokers.
